Baseball/Softball games at Burlington Friday begin at 4:30pm. Burlington will charge an admission Friday of $5 adults and $3 students or Burlington is hosting a food drive Friday and you can get in free if you bring nonperishable food items to donate to their food drive. Burlington asks that fans park in the gravel parking lot on the west side of the softball/baseball complex.
Baseball and Softball teams tonight against Northeast Arma at Home. There will be short senior night ceremonies in between games tonight. Come out and support the teams and seniors!

Congratulations to Karsyn Kempinger on competing today on the winning team at the 4 State All-Star Volleyball Game held at Highland Community College in Highland, KS! The two all star teams were made up of high school seniors from Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. Karsyn plans to attend HCC in the fall and play on the volleyball team. Great Job Karsyn!

4/29 baseball home doubleheader with Pleasanton has been moved to Tuesday 4/30 at 4:30pm start time
5/2 baseball at Marmaton Valley has been moved to 5/3 at Marmaton Valley 4:30 start time
5/2 Softball will makeup their doubleheader with Saint Paul that was postponed due to stormy weather earlier in the season

Jayhawk Elementary will host an informative evening visit for parents and their child in the Jayhawk Elementary Cafeteria on April 15 at 6:30 P.M.
If your child currently attends our PreK class s/he will be screened during their regular preschool day.
New Kindergarten students enrolling at Jayhawk for the first time will need to be screened on April 15th, between the hours of 5:00 and 6:00 PM. You will need to bring a certified copy of your child’s birth certificate and record of immunizations.

PTO will be hosting a JES Family Dance on May 4, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
This is for JES parents and students only.
At least one parent must attend to supervise their children.
This is being hosted in place of a father daughter dance. Mothers and sons are welcome.
Cost is $15 per adult/child couple, with additional adult $10 each/additional student $5 each.
Theme is Glow Crazy.

Due to a shortage of drivers tomorrow morning (Thursday, April 4th, 2024), Bus 8 kids will need to be at their bus stops 10 minutes earlier than normal. Sugar Valley kids will be picked up 10 minutes later than normal. Bus 4 kids picked up on 7 HWY between 200 Rd and 300 Rd will be picked up at approximately 6:20 a.m. Thanks for your patience.
